Mr. Lees /Athletic Director
Dear MRISA Footballers, Coaches, and Supporters,
Welcome to ISE Thailand. Our students, staff, parents and community proudly welcome you all to our MRISA Junior Football 2015 Tournament.
It is a great pleasure for ISE to be hosting this MRISA event. We will do all we can to help you get the most out of your short stay in this wonderful country. When you leave on Sunday, we are sure you will take away many lifelong memories. Some of you will leave with trophies and awards, others won’t. Such is the nature of sport. However, MRISA sporting weekends aren’t merely about winning or losing. They are about endeavor, teamwork, sportsmanship, camaraderie and friendship. All of you can take these values away with you.
So when you play, strive to be the best player you can be. Help your team and respect your opponents at all times. Yes, play hard and play to win, but do it fairly and in the spirit of this ‘beautiful game’. Accept and respect decisions made by the officials and by your coach. Also, please take time to reflect on the time and effort your coach has put in to train you and your team. Your coaches deserve your thanks and gratitude.
Finally, respect the MRISA code of conduct you have signed. Always be respectful and polite to your host family. They have opened up their homes to you, so thank them when you leave and be a good ambassador for your school and country.
I wish you all a happy, safe and memorable festival of football and friendship.
